Plans and storage

Your FOCL plan sets how much you can store. There is one subscription, and it covers the wedding-day app and your galleries together. For what the Free plan limits inside the wedding-day app, see Plans, billing and the Free plan.

• Free: 10 GB. Photos only; videos need a paid plan.
• Essentials, $10 a month or $100 a year: 100 GB
• Studio, $19 a month or $190 a year: 500 GB
• Pro, $39 a month or $390 a year: 2 TB

Videos are the only feature that depends on your plan. Everything else is on every plan including Free: unlimited galleries and couples, favorites, shared sets and vendor links, full-size downloads and ZIP delivery, your branding and portfolio page, passwords, watermarks and expiry dates.

Downloads and bandwidth are uncapped. However many times your couples and their guests open or download a gallery costs you nothing extra, and there is no limit on how many people you share with.

When you are near the limit

Settings → Plan & storage shows how much you have used and warns you when you are close. Once you are out of space, new uploads are refused until you upgrade or delete a gallery. Nothing already delivered is touched: your galleries stay online and your couples keep their access. Deleting photos frees the space back up.

While you are subscribed, going over your storage only ever stops new uploads. Your galleries are never taken offline for being over the limit.

If your subscription ends

Everything stays online and downloadable for at least 90 days. After that, if you are storing more than the free 10 GB, your galleries may become temporarily unavailable to visitors until you resubscribe or bring your storage down. They come straight back when you do. If you are within the free 10 GB, nothing changes.

Your photos are never deleted quietly. They are kept for at least 12 months, and you get at least 30 days’ notice by email before anything is removed. A full export of your galleries and account data is available at every stage from Settings → Your data.

How much fits

A gallery of edited JPEGs averages about 2 GB, and a wedding video about another 2 GB. Allowing 3 GB per delivery, Free holds about 3 galleries, Essentials about 30 (or 20 with videos), Studio about 160, and Pro about 650.

Lifetime and older plans

If you subscribed before these plans existed, you keep the price you are paying and get Essentials-level storage. Lifetime covers the wedding-day app only. A lifetime holder gets the Free allowance in Galleries and subscribes to Essentials, Studio or Pro for more, like anyone else.

Subscribed through the iPhone app?

Then Apple manages your subscription, and changing plans has to happen on the web. The App Store cannot move you between plans. Cancel in Settings → Subscriptions on your phone first, so you are not billed twice.
