Upload photos
How to upload
- Open the gallery.
- Drag your exported photos anywhere onto the page. A whole folder works.
Or click Upload Photos at the top right of the photo grid and choose files or a folder.
Keep the tab open
The files are held in the browser tab while they upload. You can work in other parts of the studio in the meantime, but do not close the tab. Closing it loses whatever has not finished.
If your internet drops, the upload retries by itself and continues where it stopped. If uploads stop partway, a bar appears above the grid with Resume.
“My photos are greyed out and I can’t pick them”
You chose One Folder. That option opens a folder-only picker, so the files inside always look greyed out. You are meant to pick the folder itself. To choose specific photos, use Photos & Videos instead, or drag the files onto the page.
What you can upload
- Photos: JPEG, PNG, HEIC and WebP.
- RAW files are not accepted. Export to JPEG first. A RAW wedding is about four times the size of the same wedding in JPEG, it uploads faster as JPEG, and JPEG is what the couple can open. If some files are skipped, the uploader tells you how many and why.
- Videos: MP4, MOV and other common formats, up to 30 GB each, on every paid plan. Drop them in with the photos. See Add videos to a gallery.
Limits
- 50 MB per photo.
- 25 GB of photos in one gallery. Videos do not count toward this limit, only toward your plan’s storage.
- A gallery at the 25 GB limit is a sign to split the job into two galleries.
Your plan sets how much you can store in total. See Plans and storage.
