The Couple Portal

The Couple Portal is a private link you send the couple so they can fill in their own people, family photos, timeline and vendors. Nothing they enter touches your brief until you approve it.

Set it up

Open the wedding and choose Couple Portal (in the sidebar, on the Brief, or in the share menu).
The first time, press Create portal link.

The portal is seeded from what is already in your brief, so the couple opens to your existing people and timeline rather than a blank page.

Send it

Copy portal link, or Share link on a phone. View portal preview shows exactly what they will see. It is their real portal in read-only, not a mock-up.

Control the link

New link issues a fresh one and kills the old one immediately.
Turn off link and Turn on link switch access without deleting anything.
Pause sharing lets them keep seeing the last version while you edit.
Link expires can be edited.

The link has no password. Anyone who has it can open the portal. That is why New link and Turn off link exist. Use them if a link goes astray.

Choose what to ask for

In portal settings, Sections the couple fills in turns each of People, Family Photos, Timeline, Vendors, Must-Have Moments and Notes on or off. Welcome message sets the greeting they see first. Email reminders needs the couple’s email. Without it, Send a nudge cannot send anything and tells you so.

Review what they send

The Review tab lists everything waiting.

Add puts an item into your brief. Add all takes a whole section.
For notes and timeline changes you get a comparison with Keep mine or Apply their change.
Family photos they requested open with any “keep apart” warning they flagged. Approved ones land in your list marked as added by the couple.

Rejecting is not silent. Anything you reject appears in the couple’s Updates tab marked “Not added”, with a gentle explanation that you are shaping the final plan.

Messages

Messages is a direct chat with the couple inside the portal. They see it in their portal and can reply.

After the wedding

Once the wedding date passes, the portal locks itself to read-only, showing the couple everything they shared.
